Sourced from family-owned farms located in the Gao highlands of Aceh (Sumatra, Indonesia), this bean is grown in volcanic soil, sun-dried, and wet-hulled; and it is led by the export company CV Gayo Mandiri Coffee––a family operation with access to their own mill, success helping surrounding farmers access international markets, and promoting earnings with a direct trade.
Cupping Notes: Average body, acidity, and sweetness with notes of cedar and dark chocolate.
