Smooth earthy flavor that hits the palate, gives way to a mix of chocolate overtones, leaving a lingering caramel aftertaste. Overall a great coffee for folks that want to go for an above average cup of joe.
Roasted this to medium after getting to second crack, a very solid bean for the price. Also a bean worth mixing into blends that need a smooth earthy body to round it out.

With roasting coffee, my first objective was to find a coffee my wife and I can drink everyday. A home base while we adventure throughout the world of coffee. A decent cup of joe. We never met Joe, but we did meet the Don. Don Enrique Reserve, roasted 2.5min past 2nd crack on the SR800, brewed in a subpar Mr.Coffee drip maker, taste like what I imagine as a decent cup of coffee. No flavor is competing with the other. Balanced, smooth, unimposing. The Don isn't looking to be flashy but to give comfort. But when you put the Don through the aeropress the flavor is like putting on some silk pajamas, but get ready for the punch of caffeine that will carry you through tomorrow!

Absolutely smooth and full bodied, very little bitterness at all. Will definitely buy bulk again.

Rich, bold, and complex. Dark chocolate notes on the back end that remain on the palate. This one will stay with you, and that's a good thing. Taken just into second crack in a SR800 with an extension tube. Full City + maybe, slightly darker than I usually roast, but this bean handles it well. Brewed in both an Aeropress and a Behmor Brazen. Actually preferred the Aeropress. Seemed to take the "rough edge" off of it. Looking forward to brewing it in a Chemex. Should be just right. These Colombians are really good.

For my taste this is one of the best coffee beans. The bean quality was excellent. I always sort beans before roasting and Coffee Bean Corral quality control is top notch good. The coffee roasted between1st and 2nd crack. The roasted bean had a wonderful rich coffee and chocolate aroma. The drip coffee was smooth as silk, light citrus, chocolate and cocoa. Blended 1:1 with Ethiopian Ethiopia Natural Sidamo Durato Bombe Grade 1 for probably my best cup of coffee.
Roasted a batch past 2nd crack for a delicious cup of espresso.

This bean is exceptional and is as fun to roast as it is to savor the morning aroma, body and taste.

This is a difficult bean to roast and not "chip" from the heat. It's best done at a lower temp for longer duration than any bean I've roasted.
The flavor is good though!
I use a SR800.

Very nice. In espresso/milk drinks a light roast gives taste of honey, medium roast gives a nice Carmel flavor and dark gives chocolate taste.

This is the first coffee I ever roasted and it's amazing! It's got a bright and nutty flavor with subtle notes of cinnamon! I roasted it to 22 minutes at 210 celcius, which was just into second crack, I guess a city roast. If you're new to roasting, this is definitely the one to get!

I don't roast, generally, a great many Columbian beans, but this was a pretty decent drinker with a decent body at mauve a FC roast. Definite complex chocolate nuances, and chocolaty qualities in coffees is one of my favorite attributes. At full city roast some of the fruit qualities may be reduced but some linger but it is at its smoothest to my tongue.

We always roast just past first crack so we can't speak to darker roasts, but this was one of our favorites so far, chaff was easy to separate and was we were laughing because we found ourselves literally slurping this coffee, great stuff!

Rich, bold yet smooth, this excelso is delicious without any bitter aftertaste that some Colombian coffees exhibit. It's the cabernet of coffee. On my little countertop roaster I roasted it for eight minutes @ 220 C, and then eight minutes @ 240 C. This took it a few minutes past 2nd crack and delivered a medium-dark roast. I brew it up as espresso in my Bialetti, add a dab of honey and some half-n-half for a cappuccino that is delicious beyond words.
I highly recommend this coffee.

This coffee is exactly what I was looking for in terms of flavor. Rich, sweet, full bodied, classic Colombian with a cacao nuttiness, and virtually no acidity. I take it just past second cracks. I could drink this the rest of my life!
